Design, finance, build, launch and operate, stage by stage

Sixteen steps, one hospitality brief.

From the land to the operating hotel. Skip a step only when the property has already done it. The list is a guide to the conversation, not a timetable.

Choose a step, or use the arrow keys to move along the list. Opening readiness sits near the end: a launch is a checklist, and management continues on its own page after it.

Land and property review

Read the site before anyone draws a hotel. Access, slope, water, power, neighbours, forest or planning limits, and whether the land can actually hold the idea.

A future concept

How an owner might later see progress

Reporting should follow the work. The view below is a design concept for that idea, labelled as such.

Owner project view

Indicative future concept

  • Project timeline
  • Milestone progress
  • Site photo updates
  • Documents
  • Approvals
  • Loan application status
  • Subsidy status
  • Procurement
  • Budget monitoring
  • Hotel operating reports

A later owner view could gather timeline, papers and operating summaries in one place. This panel is a design concept. It is not connected to a project, a lender, a subsidy portal, or the guest booking system. No figure here is live.

Start at the step you are actually on

Most owners do not need all sixteen conversations on the first call.
