Safari Tent Cottage (Leopard Lair)

Designed for the true wildlife enthusiast, the Safari Cottages place you at the very threshold of the jungle. These spacious, tented-style permanent cottages draw inspiration from classic African safari lodges — earthy tones, natural textures, and a raw connection to the wild — reinterpreted through an Indian lens.

Each cottage features a wide wrap-around viewing deck from which guests have spotted deer, wild boar, and on lucky mornings, a leopard or tiger on the forest edge. The interiors feature handcrafted furniture, cotton woven rugs, and safari-themed artwork celebrating Bandhavgarh's iconic wildlife heritage.

The proximity to the safari gate means early morning jeep safaris begin right at your doorstep. Your naturalist guide will brief you over campfire chai before dawn, preparing you for an unforgettable encounter with the Bengal tiger in its native habitat.
